i believe ~

…the journey is the destination.  (take the scenic route whenever possible)

…we are the children of our landscape.  (i am from coastal hill country - flat-horizons make me nervous and i am happiest near the sea)

…the difference between the almost right word and the right word is the difference between the lightning bug and the lightning.  (say what you mean, mean what you say)

…only the dead have seen the end of war.  (but something new and amazing is happening/discovered/articulated everyday, so hope springs eternal)

…no one is exempt from irony.  (so get over yourself and stop caring what other people think.  an ongoing challenge…)
